Our 2024-2025 KSA results
Our district has great news to share about the recently released 2024-2025 Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA) results and, more importantly, wishes to express profound gratitude and appreciation for the dedicated work of everyone in the Erlanger-Elsmere Schools community.
The results released by the Kentucky Department of Education speak volumes about the community of empowerment, growth, and respect that we all work hard to cultivate. This achievement isn't just about scores; it's a testament to the commitment of every single person who supports our students.
We're incredibly proud of the significant highlights from this year's assessment, which demonstrate our commitment to growing our students academically over time:
Elementary Excellence: All four of our district's elementary schools improved a color band from the previous year, with Miles and Lindeman Elementary Schools achieving coveted 'Green' status!
Academic Growth: The percentages of EES students earning proficient or distinguished status in both Reading and Math increased across every grade span.
Climate and Safety: Our Quality of School Climate and Safety results across all grade spans were either 'Green' or 'Blue', reinforcing the fact that our students feel safe and secure in our schools.
High Graduation Rates: Our graduation cohort rates remain remarkably high, sitting at 97.5% for 4 years and 98.8% for 5 years.
These outstanding results are a direct reflection of the tireless efforts across all facets of our organization.
To our Teachers and Instructional Assistants: Thank you for the passion, creativity, and skill you bring to the classroom every day. Your direct influence is the core of our academic growth.
To our Administrators and Instructional Support Personnel: Your leadership, coordination, guidance, and specialized support are critical in ensuring our educators have what they need and our students receive the holistic help they deserve.
To our Food Service, Maintenance, and Custodial Teams: You create a clean, safe, and nurturing environment that is essential for learning. Without the security and comfort you provide, our students couldn't focus on growth.
To our Transportation Personnel: Thank you for ensuring our students arrive at school and return home safely and reliably each day. Your professionalism is the first and last positive interaction many of our students have.
To our EES Families: Your partnership is invaluable. Thank you for your trust, support, and collaboration, which empower your students to flourish.
Our commitment remains focused on improving outcomes for the whole child. The KSA results, combined with survey results that speak to the level of respect, comfort, and support our students feel, confirm that the longer our students stay in our district, the more empowered they are to continue to grow and flourish.
Thank you for your dedication to our students and for helping us create a truly exceptional school district.

The Erlanger Elsmere school district is hosting a hygiene drive in honor of Homeless & Hunger Awareness Month. Starting November 5 through November 21, students can bring in hygiene items to donate. Please bring items to your seminar class. The seminar in each grade level that collects the most items will win a prize from Patty the food truck! Please donate NEW hygiene items such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, hair brushes, hair ties, laundry detergent, deodorant, soap/body wash, chapstick, etc. These items will be used to support families in need in our school district.
