The Youth Service Center has graciously received a donation of birthday cake kits! These come with all the items needed to bake a soda birthday cake. We have 12 of these available & it is first come first serve. You will need to let me know if you are picking it up or if I should send it home with your student. TMS gifted and talented students & youth ambassador students were able to participate in a fun project with LinkNKY today! This session was led by journalists from LinkNKY, a local online news source. Students participated in different stations that address artificial intelligence. Thank you to LinkNKY for coming to work with our students!

This marks an incredible 3rd year in a row that our 7th & 8th grade choir has achieved this honor—what an amazing tradition of excellence! And even more special… this is the first time in nearly 20 years that a Tichenor 6th grade choir has participated in this event! 🎉
These students have put in the time, the effort, and the heart—and it SHOWED on stage. We couldn’t be more proud of their hard work and dedication! 💙💛

Our band students were absolutely fantastic yesterday! They represented themselves, our school, and our community incredibly well.
We are proud to share that this is the first time a Tichenor Concert Band has received a Distinguished Rating at KMEA Concert Assessment! What an amazing accomplishment!
Their hard work, dedication, and countless hours of practice truly paid off. We are so proud of our students and thankful for the leadership that helped guide them to this milestone.

Our Tichenor 8th graders had a great day at JA Inspire at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center! 🚀
Students explored future career paths while connecting with more than 50 employers and organizations. Experiences like this help our Trojans start thinking about the many opportunities ahead.

Yesterday we had some fun with Twin Day as part of World Kindness Week! 👯
Students and staff dressed as twins to remind us of an important message: everyone deserves to feel included. Kindness means looking around, noticing who might be standing alone, and making sure they feel like they belong.
At TMS, we’re proud of our Trojans for showing that sometimes the smallest acts—an invitation, a smile, or simply sitting with someone new—can make a big difference. Let’s keep spreading kindness all week long! 💙💛
